Birds of New Zealand

A selection of some of the rather restricted species of bird to be found in New Zealand. A couple of these photos were taken at a place called The Kiwi House, Otoraohanga – kiwis are only seen nocternally and we were unable to see them and use light to take a photo of then at Kiwi House, hence no photos of a kiwi.
