Camdeboo and Valley of Desolation

I have taken rather long to post these photos because I have just not had time to edit them and have just needed to take the time off.On Christmas day last year we travelled to Camdeboo and spent the afternoon investigating the area. The Valley of Desolation is really spectacular, made up of great fingers of rock which rise from the valley floor and give way to the flat arid Karoo beyond it. Christmas evening had a beautiful full moon which you will also see in these photos.
